Tigers Lose at Ohio Wesleyan

September 16, 2007, Delaware, Ohio - DePauw dropped to 2-4 on the season following a 3-1 loss at Ohio Wesleyan. The Bishops improved to 3-2-1 with the home win.
Ohio Wesleyan scored twice in the first half on unassisted goals by Megan Quinn at 18:30 and Meredith Gerrick at 27:01. Michelle Corbett pushed the Bishops' lead to 3-0 at 61:15 on assists from Gerrick and Meg Smith. DePauw's lone goal came at 84:15 from Emily Petrus.
Ohio Wesleyan outshot DePauw 19-10 and held a 4-2 advantage in corners.Brooke Shipley totaled six saves for DePauw, while Lauren Palfrey added two. Ali Gray finished with one Ohio Wesleyan save and Lauren Van Hoey had three.
DePauw opens Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play on Friday at Rhodes.
