Five Tigers Named to All-SCAC Women's Soccer Squad

ehr_alexandra_2009wsoccaction.jpgNovember 25, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. —  In voting by the conference's head coaches, five DePauw student-athletes were named to the All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Teams.

Sophomore forward Alexandra Ehr (left) was the Tigers' lone first first team choice after leading DePauw with seven goals, three assists and 17 total points.

Junior midfielder Julia Drummond, a 2007 third team honoree and second team last year, was named to the second team along with freshman defender Emily White. Drummond was second on the team with five goals, three assists and 12 points. She paced the team with three game-winning goals. White played in and started all 19 games in her rookie campaign and assisted on one goal while leading the Tigers' defensive efforts.

Earning spots on the third team were sophomore defender Lauren Hannan and sophomore midfielder Emelie Johansson.

The Tigers finished the season with a 7-7-5 overall record and placed fourth in the SCAC standings with a 4-2-3 SCAC mark.
