Skrenta named head softball coach
Bonnie Skrenta, a 2000 Providence College graduate, has been named DePauw University's head softball coach. She replaces Deb Zellers who remains at DePauw to coach the volleyball team. full story
Three Tigers named to all-SCAC team
Seniors Andrea Clark and Darcy Vannatta as well as junior Kylie Moord earned all-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference honors. Vannatta's honor was her fourth in as many years, while Clark earned the distinction for the second time.

Tigers finish 2-4 at Great Lakes Invitational
DePauw picked up its first wins of the season as they hosted the Great Lakes Invitational. DePauw opened play with a 7-6 loss to Olivet and an 8-4 defeat to Anderson on Friday. In Saturday's games they blanked Manchester 1-0 and lost to Albion 10-0. On Sunday, the Tigers shut out Olivet 1-0 and lost to St. Mary-of-the-Woods, 5-1.

The Tigers fell to 0-4 on the season with a pair of losses at Franklin. DePauw dropped the first game by a 1-0 score in eight innings and fell in the nightcap by a 6-5 count.
