Jamie Mueller

Jamie Mueller is beginning her first season as assistant softball coach at DePauw after a stint at Aurora University where she held the same position.

In her time at Aurora, Mueller helped lead the Spartans to a 26-17 overall record and 20-4 in conference play. Her job responsibilities included helping organize and run practices, videotape and analyze swings and other aspects of the coaching realm.

Mueller was also an assistant coach at the club level, working with the Elmwood Parky Lady Tigers U18 softball squad. While with the Lady Tigers she was pivotal in teaching the strategy and mental aspects of the game along with helping athletes with their college recruitment.

Before she began coaching, Mueller was a three-year starting infielder at Aurora, where her team appeared in the NCAA regionals on two occasions.

A 2008 graduate of Aurora, Mueller majored in business administration with a minor in Spanish. She is pursuing a master’s degree in kinesiology and physical education from Northern Illinois University. Mueller is currently a member of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
