May 12, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw freshmen Carolyn Bartlett and Rachel Gill each earned spots on the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division III All-Central Region Team.
Bartlett was one of three outfielders selected to the first team, while Gill was the desginated player choice to the second team.
Bartlett led the Tigers with a school-record .449 batting average and established new school single-season marks with 61 hits and 44 RBI.
Gill was second on the team with a .396 average and led the squad with 12 doubles which is the second highest single-season total in school history. Her four homers equaled the school record and her 34 RBI were the fourth-highest mark in a season.
DePauw finished the season with a school-record 31 wins against just 10 losses and finished second in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
