Reis earns two all-America honors at NCAA Championships
Sophomore Katie Reis finished fourth in 58.30 seconds in the 100 back and eighth in the 200 back in 2:12.26 at the NCAA Division III Championships in Buffalo, N.Y., and earned all-America honors in both events. She entered the finals seeded fourth in the 100 after a 57.98 time in the prelims. She also entered the 200 back seeded fourth after a time of 2:07.33 in the prelims. Follow the Tigers at the SCAC Championships
The Tigers placed third at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships, hosted by Trinity University. Trinity won with 917 points followed by Sewanee's 861 and DePauw's 713. Beth Broering was named the SCAC Diver of the Year. More details later. Complete results can be found here.

DePauw finishes dual meet portion of schedule with sweep
The Tigers finished the dual meet portion of their schedule with a 242-16 victory over Rose-Hulman and a 249-12 win over Vincennes. Katie Reis led the way for the Tigers with wins in the 100 back, 500 free and 200 IM. Martha Ellen Talyor won the 200 free and the 100 fly, while Katie Beehler won the 50 free and 200 back. Tigers finish third of 10 teams at Washington (Mo.) Invitational
DePauw finished third at the Washington (Mo.) University Invitational and were led by Martha Ellen Talyor who shared individual high scorer honors. Complete results

The Tigers slipped to 2-4 on the season after a 140-101 loss at Illinois Wesleyan. DePauw results

Broering places in top three on both boards at Wabash Diving Classic
DePauw's Beth Broering placed second on the one-meter board at the Wabash Diving Classic with a score of 334.5 points and was third on the three-meter board with 314.65 points.

DePauw falls to Wheaton in home opener
The Tigers fell to 2-3 on the season with a 113-98 loss to visiting Wheaton. Beth Broering was a double winner for the Tigers in diving with a score of 197.4 on the one-meter board and 202.25 in three-meter competition. The Tigers' 200 free relay won in a time of 1:45.87. Complete results

Tigers even record at 2-2 with win at Sewanee
DePauw improved to 2-2 on the season with a 136-107 win at Sewanee. The Tigers took firsts in nine individual events and one relay. Martha Ellen Talyor and Katie Reis each won two events to lead the way. Talyor won the 1000 free in 11:29.79 and the 200 fly in 2:18.26, while Katie Reis was first in the 200 individual medley in 2:21.34 and the 200 back in 2:16.68. Other winners included Alison Miller (200 free; 2:04.83), Beth Broering (one-meter diving; 193.9), Gina James (three-meter diving; 220.35) and Julie Culbertson (200 breaststroke; 2:34.84). DePauw tops Tranyslvania, 129-114
The Tigers improved to 1-2 on the season with a 129-114 win over Transylvania as they took firsts in five individual events and both relays. First place finishes for the Tigers included Alison Miller (200 free; 2:03.89), Katie Payne (50 free; 26.37), Martha Ellen Talyor (100 butterfly; 1:03.69), Katie Beehler (100 free; 57.34) and Katie Reis (100 backstroke; 1:02.97). The 200 medley relay won in 1:57.48 and the 200 free relay was first in 1:43.20. Complete results

Tigers open 2000-01 season at Indianapolis
The Tigers began the season at the University of Indianapolis with the Greyhounds and Washington University. DePauw fell to Indianapolis 157-140 and to Washington 164-133. DePauw took the top three spots in three-meter diving with Gina James winning the event. Martha Ellen Talyor won the 1000 free in 11:20.56 and Alison Miller took first in the 200 free in 2:03.73.
