December 1, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw sophomore Maddison Hamil was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference co-Women's Swimmer of the Week and junior Amy Ratliff was named Diver of the Week for their performances at the Wabash Invitational. Hamil shared the honor with Trinity's Lindsay Weigley.
Hamil scored 54 points at the Wabash Invitational as she placed third in the 50 freestyle (25.51), second in the 100 breaststroke (1:10.95), second in the 100 freestyle (54.99) and 11th in the 100 butterfly (1:02.75).
Ratliff placed second in the 1-meter at the Wabash Invitational with a score of 174.65.
