November 1, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - Katie Doogan has been selected Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference co-Women's Swimmer of the Week for meets from October 23 through October 29. She shared the honor with Meredith Angel of Centre.
Doogan opened the 2006-07 campaign with a school record in the 200 free with a time of 1:57.69 in DePauw’s first meet of the season.
