Bretscher and Staff Earn SCAC Honors

February 23, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - After leading the Tigers to their fourth straight second-place finish at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships, DePauw women's swimming and diving coach Mary Bretscher and her staff have been named the co-SCAC Staff of the Year in voting by the conference's head coaches. They shared the honor with Centre College's staff.

The honor is the third for Bretscher since the Tigers began SCAC competiion in 1998-99.

The 15th-ranked Tigers compete at the NCAA Division III Championships in Oxford, Ohio, March 13-20.
