Stier Named SCAC Swimmer of the Week

Stier_Amanda_200809wsw.jpgNovember 12, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw senior Amanda Stier has been selected as the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week for her performances from November 3-9.

Stier won three events during the November 8 meet against Wittenberg and was a member of the winning 200-yard medley relay. Her wins came in the 200 butterfly (2:09.85), 100 freestyle (54.18), and 100 fly (59.57).

The 100 free was a lifetime best time and the other two events were season bests.

DePauw hosts Wheaton on Friday, November 21 at 5 p.m.
