Heathman's season comes to an end in NCAA first round
Freshman Haley Heathman dropped her first-round singles match at the NCAA Division III Championships at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn., to Emory's Emily Warburg 7-5, 7-6 (1).
Heathman earns spot in 32-player NCAA Singles Championship
Freshman Haley Heathman has earned a spot in the NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Singles Championship that begins on Monday, May 22 at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn.
Heathman, one of 32 players in Division III vying for the championship, played number one singles throughout the season and posted an 18-5 record for the Tigers.
As a team, DePauw finished third in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference and lost to Kenyon last Friday in the first round of the NCAA Division III Team Championship.
DePauw loses to Kenyon in NCAA Championship first round
The Tigers closed out the dual match portion of the season at 18-8 after losing at Kenyon, 8-1, in the first round of the NCAA Division III Championship. The number-one doubles team of Haley Heathman and Shayna Schupan won their match, 8-3, for the Tigers' lone point. Tigers face Kenyon in NCAA first round
The 18-7 Tigers make their first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division III Women's Championship as they travel to Kenyon College to face the host Ladies on Friday, May 12. The winner faces the Wheaton-Hope winner on Saturday. DePauw lost to Kenyon 5-0 on April 7. Overall, the Tigers are 1-6 against teams in the 26-team field.

Tigers finish seventh at Midwest Invitational
DePauw fell to Hope 5-1, but then came back to defeat Wisconsin-Whitewater 5-3 at the Midwest Invitational at Madison, Wis., to finish seventh at the tournament. The Tigers, 16-6 on the season, face Hendrix in the SCAC Championship on Friday at Rhodes College.
DePauw splits opening two matches at Midwest Invitational
The Tigers, seeded ninth at the Midwest Invitational in Madison, Wis., knocked off eighth-seeded Calvin 5-4 before falling to top-seed Gustavus Adolphus 9-0. DePauw takes on fifth-seed Hope on Saturday morning.

Tigers finish third at GLCA Championships; Kenyon claims title
DePauw defeated Denison 6-3 to finish third at the GLCA Championships. Kenyon defeated Hope in the title match 6-1. Albion beat Oberlin 5-4 in the fifth-place match. DePauw finishes spring trip with 4-0 record to improve to 10-3 overall
The Tigers won all four of their matches at Hilton Head to improve their overall record to 10-3 and increase their win streak to seven straight. The Tigers opened play with a 5-4 win over Wisconsin-Whitewater and followed with 9-0 wins over Tri-State and Principia before defeating Carnegie-Mellon 7-2.
Tigers improve to 6-3 with win over Indianapolis
The Tigers won for the third straight time as they defeated the University of Indianapolis by a 6-3 score. The Tigers took five of the six singles matches and cam back from being down a set at three and five singles. Results
DePauw takes two of three weekend matches
The Tigers lost to Washington University 7-2 before moving indoors and defeating Kalamazoo 7-0 and Wittenberg 5-1. DePauw improved to 5-3 with the weekend play.
Tigers fall to Hope and Calvin in opening matches of spring
The Tigers went on the road for the opening matches of the spring season and fell to Hope 6-3 and Calvin 5-4.
Young Tigers fare well at ITA Regional
In singles play, Maggie Petersen advanced to the semifinals with wins over Tegtmeyer of Principia (6-0, 6-1), Winter of Denison (6-1, 3-6, 6-2) and Tucker of Kenyon (6-1, 6-2). The eighth-seeded player of the tournament fell in the semis to fourth-seeded Gerlach of Baldwin-Wallace.
Haley Heathman, seeded third, earned a first-round by before losing to Harbauer of Kenyon 6-3, 7-5.
Kristin Gieseke won her first-round match over Cook of Washingron (Mo.) by a 6-1, 6-3 score. She fell in the second round to Farrell of Ohio Wesleyan 6-0, 3-6, 6-3. Katie Hunt lost her first-round match to Calhoun of Chicago by a 6-4, 6-3 score.
Tigers finish fall season with 3-0 record
The Tiger women completed the fall portion of the 1999-2000 season with a 3-0 record. The Tigers defeated Hanover 8-1, Mount St. Joseph 9-0 and Franklin 8-1.
