17th-ranked Tigers lose to second-ranked Washington and Lee

Lexington, Va. - The 17th-ranked Tigers dropped to 2-6 on the season following a 9-0 loss at Washington and Lee University as part of the Fab Five Tournament.

 

After dropping all three doubles matches, the Tigers lost in straight sets in all but number two singles where Claire Ellis won the first game 6-4 over Kristen McClung. McClung came back to win the second set 6-1 and the third by a 6-2 score.

 

DePauw takes on Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference rival Rhodes at 10 a.m. on Friday.
