16th-ranked Tigers Fall to Second-ranked Generals

March 27, 2009, Atlanta, Ga. —  The 16th-ranked Tigers dropped to 7-6 on the season following a 7-2 loss to second-ranked Washington & Lee at the Fab Five Tournament at Emory University.

The Generals swept all three doubles matches to take a 3-0 lead. DePauw's singles wins came from Kelly Gebert at number three with a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Trelsie Sadler and Tricia Wilks at number five by a 6-1, 6-3 score over Laura Pattillo.

DePauw takes on 14th-ranked Redlands on Saturday.
