#8 Tigers Drop 6-3 Decision to #2 Emory

March 20, 2010, Atlanta, Ga. — In a battle of two top 10 teams, eighth-ranked DePauw suffered a 6-3 setback at second-ranked Emory. DePauw dropped to 10-2 with the loss, while Emory improved to 13-2.
DePauw's Janelle Arita and Kelly Gebert picked up an 8-4 win at number-two doubles while Tricia Wilks and Taylor Prodromos took an 8-2 win at the number-three slot to give the Tigers a 2-1 lead. Only Arita claimed a singles win after picking up a 6-2, 6-2 win over Lorne McManigle.
The Tigers face Wisconsin-Whitewater and Hope on Tuesday, March 23, at Hilton Head Island, S.C.
