Schaeuble named SCAC Player of the Week

schaeuble.jpgDePauw junior middle hitter Sunny Schaeuble has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 15th through Sunday, September 21st.

 

Schaeuble hit .425 with 17 kills and no errors in 40 total attacks as DePauw swept matches against Brescia (3-0) and Eureka (3-0) at the Rose-Hulman Quadrangular. Schaeuble also had four service aces, eight digs and seven blocks in the six games.

 

For the season, Schaeuble leads her team and is 13th in the SCAC in hitting percentage (.249), and is second in the league in blocks per game (1.20).

 

DePauw, 7-6 on the season, hosts the first of two SCAC Eastern Divisional tournaments this Saturday and Sunday. For complete SCAC volleyball information, please visit the official site.
