The King's Singers in Concert

Add to Calendar7:30 pm – 9:30 pm

At the mid-point of their inaugural U.S. Summer School, The King’s Singers invite you to join them for an evening of music that gets up close and personal, journeying through over 500 years of music from across their repertoire and around the world.

This concert also celebrates the amazing work of British choral legend Bob Chilcott, a former tenor in The King’s Singers and a special guest throughout their North American Summer School at DePauw. During the course of the performance, the ensemble will be joined on stage by all of their Summer School participants for a performance of Chilcott's A Thanksgiving, and there will be an opportunity for a unique Q&A session with the composer and musicians directly after the concert.

“The audience loved it, and justifiably, for ultimately The King’s Singers are out-and-out entertainers, delighting in showing what can be done with the most varied and delightful of material.” — Edmonton Journal

“One can’t but admire the impeccable intonation, rhythmic precision and immaculate ensemble of this performance…voices of spun gold.” — BBC Music Magazine
