Boren Scholarship Application Workshop

The Boren Scholarship is a competitive award that can help pay for your study abroad and put you on the path to working for the federal government. Applications must be submitted at least a year in advance of your study abroad (sometimes before you submit an application to DePauw), so start early. This session will review the requriements, opportunities and eligibility. Firs Year and Sophomore students STRONGLY encouraged to attend. Carnegie Research Fellowship Application Workshop

Students with strong research skills and an interest in conducting research is areas of importance to international peace are encouraged to attend this session. Students must apply as seniors, but all class years are welcome and encouraged to attend to help learn how to craft a multi-year plan to be increase chances of success. Truman Scholarship Application Workshop

The Truman Scholarship is for students to pay for graduate study in an academic discipline for students committed to public service leadership. Strong applicants have a depth of experience and focused interest in public service. Students must apply as juniors, but all class years are welcome and encouraged to attend to help learn how to craft a multi-year plan to be increase chances of success.
