Yoga

Add to Calendar12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

This is a level one/level two Hatha Yoga - Vinyasa Flow class. In each class there will always be instruction in how to move into poses (asanas) in order to arrive at proper alignment (hatha), as well as continuous movement linking poses (vinyasa). As the school year progresses and participants become more familiar with the poses we'll incorporate more flow linking asanas. The coordination of breath and movement will be emphasized, as well as the non-competitive nature of yoga practice and its relation to meditation. The use of props to assist in proper alignment is encouraged, and poses will progress from basics to more challenging moves, so that beginners as well as those with more yoga experience can participate at an appropriate level for them #Wellness
