Public Administration Interdisciplinary Minor

 

 

 

 

 


The Public Administration minor serves as preparation for those entering public service or governmental administration at the local, state or federal level.

Requirements for the program include the following:

one course from accounting, statistics, or computer science;
two social or behavioral science courses outside the major;
two additional courses relevant to the area of minor concentration;
and POLS 328 (Introduction to Public Administration).

In addition, students participate in a supervised internship in government or a not-for-profit corporation and participate in the Management Center Lecture Series.
