- Misti Shaw holds a Bachelor's in Music Performance from Oklahoma City University, a Master's in Music from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory, and a Master's in Library Science from the University of North Texas. Prior to DePauw, she served as the sabbatical replacement Music Librarian at St. Olaf College in Minnesota. She is a member of the Music Library Association (MLA), and serves as a member of both the Emerging Technologies committee and the Web Advisory committee. She is also a member of the MLA Midwest Chapter, and chairs the Technology, Archives, Preservation, and Sound (TAPS) committee. Shaw's research interests include innovation in instruction, creating effective library assignments, and contemporary composers.
