The Business e-Services is made-up of one central and versatile interface for all users needing to accomplish business related tasks. This interface provides a standardized data entry process regardless of the user. Business e-Services 2.0 facilitates transactions from campus departments to providers in the Finance Division. The Budgeting and Accounting modules include features for managing budget account access, budget activity, as well as other tasks. The Purchasing and Expense modules manage the flow of requests and expenses from University departments to the Purchasing and Accounting Offices.

The Menu Page of Business e-Services is navigated to from the e-Services home page. The Business e-Services link is located under the Accounting Menu/Forms heading on the left column of the page.
FAQ: Who to Call About What. This link provides answers to basic questions
and also lists the name, department, email address link and phone numbers
for the key people. This list provides a quick reference for who to contact
for more information.
Your New Account Numbers. This link will list the old
account numbers with the corresponding new account numbers. You must enter
your department code
and budget query password.
New Account Numbers. This link will find the new account number by referencing
the old account number that you enter.
List of Vendors. This link will open an Excel spreadsheet
of all of the vendors listed by DePauw. This spreadsheet will display the
relevant information for each vendor.
Human Resources Organizations (Departments). This link
will display Organizations pre-defined by Human Resources and custom
sub-organizations in the system. The report opens in an Excel spreadsheet.
University Locations (Buildings). This link will display Building Locations. The report opens in an Excel spreadsheet.
Budget Account Access. This link allows for creating
and editing accounts. Organizations, along with their parent-child relationships
and assigned users, can be added or edited. Accounts are linked to the
organization along with the object codes under a business unit.

Budget Activity Report. This link will open a report
that displays the current balances on the Account Summary page and transactions
of the account on the Account Transaction page. Various filters can be
used to display the desired information.

Reserve Budget Funds. This link allows for viewing and
searching Reserve Budget funds. Status of Reserves are displayed and check
requisition reports can be viewed.
Budget Planner. This link allows the user to view accounts
they have access to by using a department code and password. Various menus
allow the user to maintain the accounts and process budget requests.

Request a Budget Balance Transfer. This link allows for
requesting the transfer of funds from one account to another. This applies
only to accounts with the first digit of one (1).

Request a New Account. This link opens a document for requesting a new account.
Purchasing Guide. The Purchasing Guide gives information
on the standard functions and processes used by the Purchasing Office buyers.

Purchasing Matrix. The Purchasing Matrix lists the accepted
means to purchase goods or services.

Commercial Card. This link allows the user to view and
edit their Commercial Card Statement. Each transaction
can be assigned to an account, purpose stated and explanation give. A dispute
form can be initiated if an error is detected in the statement. A training
section is available for using the Commercial Card Statement form.
Card holders can be added or edited by an administrator.

Expense Requests. This link allows the user to view the
Purchase Order or Check requests that have been submitted. An Add Request link
will open the Expense Request Wizard for submitting a new request. Quick
links allow navigation to PO or Check Request forms for the users who are
familiar with the purchasing policy and know if the request should be for
a PO or a Check.

Expense Request Wizard. This link will open a Wizard
that will help the user determine if the request should be for a check
or a PO. This wizard is for those users who are not familiar with the
current purchasing policies.
Central Stores Orders (SIVs). Legacy interface to order items from the University Central Stores catalog. You need a Vax account to log in and use the SIVs system.
