The Current Student Information screen is used to view the client's information that has been entered in the database. The default screen is to show all of the available information blocks. The information blocks can be filtered to show just the desired blocks.
Attention: The information on the Current Student screen is protected by Federal Privacy Law. Disclosure to unauthorized parties violates the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). You must be informed about FERPA and specifically authorized to view this screen. Only access the information needed to complete the assigned or authorized task. The information on the Current Student screen can be communicated only to other parties authorized to have access in accordance with the provisions of FERPA.
Do the following to navigate to the Current Student Info screen.
- Current Student Info Screen. On the e-Services page, click on the Current Student Info Screen link.
- The Privacy page appears. Read the privacy statement then click on I understand and agree to maintain the privacy of DePauw constituents link to continue.
- The Current Student Search appears. Instructions are given at the top of the form to find the client's information.
Note: View Access link will show what departments can view what Student Info Blocks.
Suggestion: The Information Views list allows the user to select what Student Information blocks to view. If more than one information block is desired to view, hold the Control key down and left mouse click on the required information blocks.
- If more than one client meets the search criteria, another page will show the list of the matches. Select the desired client's name from the list.
The links in the footer allow for navigating back to the Current Student Search or back to the e-Services home page.
The information blocks are, for the most part, self explanatory. The following is the list of blocks and any pertinent notes.
- Name Information.
- Additional Privacy Information.
- Permanent Mailing Address.
- Local Mailing Address.
- Communication Information. Any email addresses will be linked. Clicking on the link will allow sending an email to the address.
- Guardian / Contact Information. Any email addresses will be linked. Clicking on the link will allow sending an email to the address.
- Demographic Information.
- DPU Demographic Information.
- Placements and Placement Scores.
- DePauw Credentials. This information block has a View Grade History link. This link will open a Grade Report that is printer friendly.
- Special Programs.
- High School Information and Credentials.
- Scores.
- Activities.
- Financial Aid Information.
- Financial Aid Awards
- Account Balances. This information block has several links.
