CRM Miscellaneous Communications Menu

The Miscellaneous Communications Menu will display a list of created mailings that are sent to individuals rather then large audiences.  Only the clients that you have access to, dependent upon your department, will be displayed.  A Student Last Name and  Date Range filters can be used to search for a particular communication. 

Note:  Items with no Date Processed information has not been sent yet.

 

Navigating To

The Miscellaneous Communications menu is navigated to from the CRM home page.  The link is within the Miscellaneous Individual Mailings section.

 

Miscellaneous Communications Filters

The Miscellaneous Communications Menu has two filters that can be used to reduce the number of records or select a specific miscellaneous communication.  The links to these filters are located at the top of the page.

  1. Filter by Student Last Name.  Clicking on this link will open the Student Last Name filter.  Enter either the client's last name or enter a partial name followed by a wild card.
     
  1. Filter by Date Range.  Enter in the start date and the end date for the date range.  Use the mm/dd/yyyy form (ex. 12/22/2004).

 

Add Record

The Add Record link is used to open the Miscellaneous Communications form.  This form is used to create a New Miscellaneous Communication request form.

View

The View link is used to view the information regarding the selected Miscellaneous Communication.  Clicking on View will display the following:
 

  1. Misc Comm ID.  This is the record ID for the Miscellaneous Communication.

     
  2. Student.  This is the name of the student.  The student's ID will be in parentheses.

     
  3. Regular Mailing.  This is the name of the content for this mailing.  The Content ID number will be in parentheses.

     
  4. Date Processed.  This is the date that the mailing was sent.

     
  5. Date From.  This is the earliest date that the Miscellaneous Communication record is active.

     
  6. Date To:  This is the date the Miscellaneous Communication becomes inactive (end-date).

     
  7. Date Created.  This is the date that the Miscellaneous Communication was created.

     
  8. Created By.  This is the name of the creator of the record.  The creator's ID number will be parentheses.

     
  9. Date Modified.  This is the date of the last modification to this record.

     
  10. Modified By.  This is the name of the person who made the last modification to this record.

     
  11. Back to Misc Comm Menu.  Clicking on this link will return to the Miscellaneous Communications Menu.

 

Purge

The Purge link is used to delete the scheduling information from the database.

Note:  Only those records not yet processed can be purged.

 

Sorting the List by Student, Mailing, Date Processed

These links, Student, Mailing and Date Processed show at the top of the menu.  When the menu has been filtered, clicking on either of these links will re-sort the items.
