EVT Pro Event Attributes Menu

The Event Attributes Menu displays a list of scheduled events and displays additional information (attributes) regarding the event.

 

Navigating To

The Event Management Professional home page is navigated to by http://www.depauw.edu/e/evt/professional/. Click on the following link on the home page to navigate to the Event Attributes Menu.

 

Filter Events

The events can be filtered to reduce the number of events displayed on the list or to view a specific event.  The filter link is located at the top left of the page. 

  1. Event Title. Clicking on the Event Title link will open the Filter for the Events. A specific event name can be entered, or a partial name can be entered with a wild card. 
     

 

Add Record

The Add Record link is used to open the Event Location form.  This form is used to create a new record.

View

The View link is used to view the information regarding the selected course.  Clicking on this link will display the following:

  1. Attribute ID.  This is the row ID for the record.
     
  2. Date From.  This is the start date for the record.
     
  3. Date To.  This is the end date for the record.
     
  4. Date Created.  This is the date that the record was created.
     
  5. Created By.  This is the ID number of the person who created this record.
     
  6. Date Modified.  This is the date of the last modification made to the record.
     
  7. Modified By.  This is the ID number of the person who made the last modification to the record. 
  8. Event ID. This is the ID of the Event that is tied to the event attribute record.
     
  9. Attribute Type ID. This is the ID of the System Registry record that categorizes the attribute type.
     
  10. Attribute Type Text. This is the text of the System Registry record that categorizes the attribute type.
     
  11. Attribute Value. This is the value entered for the Attribute.

Update

The Update link is used to make changes to an existing Event Location form.  Clicking on this link will open the record for this Event.

Expire

The Expire link is used to end date the record with the current date. The record will remain in the database but will not be viewed during normal searches.

 

Purge

Clicking on the Purge link will remove the Event Location record from the database.

Attention:  This action will permanently remove the record from the database and can not be undone.

 

Event

Clicking on the Event link will sort all of the event records in ascending alphabetical order of event title.

 

Attribute Type

Clicking on the Attribute Type link will sort all of the events in ascending order of the attribute type.

 

Attribute Value

Clicking on the Attribute Value link will sort all of the events in ascending order of the attribute value.
