EVT Pro Event Menu

The Event Menu displays the latest items that you have entered or are sponsoring.  The status for each event is displayed.  A filter can be used to display events that you have entered, or are sponsoring, by event title.

 

Navigating To

The Event Management Professional home page is navigated to by http://www.depauw.edu/e/evt/professional/. Click on the following link on the home page to navigate to the Event Menu.

 

Filter Events

The events can be filtered to reduce the number of events displayed on the list or to view a specific event.  The filter link is located at the top left of the page. 

  1. Event Title. Clicking on the Event Title link will open the Filter for the Events. A specific event name can be entered, or a partial name can be entered with a wild card. 
     

 

Add Record

The Add Record link is used to open the Event Form.  This form is used to create a new record.

View

The View link is used to view the information regarding the selected event.  Clicking on this link will display the following:

  1. Event ID.  This is the row ID for the record.
     
  2. Date From.  This is the start date for the record.
     
  3. Date To.  This is the end date for the record.
     
  4. Date Created.  This is the date that the record was created.
     
  5. Created By.  This is the ID number of the person who created this record.
     
  6. Date Modified.  This is the date of the last modification made to the record.
     
  7. Modified By.  This is the ID number of the person who made the last modification to the record. 

  8. Event Parent ID. This is the ID of the Event that contains this and other events in the event group.
     
  9. Date Event.  This is the scheduled date for the event.
     
  10. Start Time.  This is the start time for the event.  This includes the date.
     
  11. End Time.  This is the end time for the event.  This includes the date.
     
  12. Start Setup Time.  This is the start setup time for the event.
     
  13. End Tear Down Time.  This is the end tear down time for the event.
     
  14. Event Title.  This is the title of the event.
     
  15. Event Description.  This is the description of the event.
     
  16. Event Type ID.  This is the type of event -- from XXSYS_RegistryValue.
     
  17. Event Type Text.  This is the text equivalent of the Event Type ID.
     
  18. Sponsor Organization ID.  This is the sponsor organization's ID number.
     
  19. Sponsor Organization Name.  This is the name of the sponsor organization.
     
  20. Sponsor Person ID.  This is the ID of the person who is sponsoring the event.
     
  21. Sponsor Person Name.  This is the name of the person who is sponsoring the event.
     
  22. Estimated Attendance.  This is the estimated attendance of the event.
     
  23. Calendar Access ID.  This is the calendar where the event will be published, University, Planning, etc. -- from XXSYS_RegistryValue.
     
  24. Calendar Access Text.  This is the text equivalent of the Calendar Access ID.
     
  25. Setup Needs.  This is any special needs required for the room setup.
     
  26. Adastra ID.  This is the ID number assigned to the event by Ad Astra.
     
  27. Adastra Type.  This is the type assigned to the event for Ad Astra.
     

Update

The Update link is used to make changes to an existing Event Form.  Clicking on this link will open the Event Form for this event.

Expire

The Expire link is used to end date the record with the current date. The record will remain in the database but will not be viewed during normal searches.

 

Purge

Clicking on the Purge link will remove the Event record from the database.

Attention:  This action will permanently remove the record from the database and can not be undone.

 

Event Date Start Time/End Time

Clicking on the Start Time link will sort all of the events in ascending order by date and then start time. Clicking on this link will sort all of the events in ascending order by date and then end time.

 

Event Title

Clicking on the Event Title link will sort all of the events in ascending alphabetical order of event title.

 

Calendar/Status

Clicking on the Calendar link will sort all of the events in ascending alphabetical order of calendar type.
