EVT Pro Event Location Menu

The Event Location Menu displays a list of pertinent information for scheduled events. This list includes the location of the event, date and status. Links on this page allow for viewing details concerning a selected event, updating information concerning an event and also adding new event locations.

 

Navigating To

The Event Management Professional home page is navigated to by http://www.depauw.edu/e/evt/professional/. Click on the following link on the home page to navigate to the Event Location Menu.

 

Filter Events

The events can be filtered to reduce the number of events displayed on the list or to view a specific event.  The filter link is located at the top left of the page. 

  1. Event Title. Clicking on the Event Title link will open the Filter for the Events. A specific event name can be entered, or a partial name can be entered with a wild card. 
     

 

Add Record

The Add Record link is used to open the Event Location form.  This form is used to create a new record.

View

The View link is used to view the information regarding the selected course.  Clicking on View will display the following:

  1. Eventlocation ID.  This is the row ID for the record.
     
  2. Date From.  This is the start date for the record.
     
  3. Date To.  This is the end date for the record.
     
  4. Date Created.  This is the date that the record was created.
     
  5. Created By.  This is the ID number of the person who created this record.
     
  6. Date Modified.  This is the date of the last modification made to the record.
     
  7. Modified By.  This is the ID number of the person who made the last modification to the record.

  8. Event ID. This is the ID of the Event that is tied to the event location record.

  9. Locationmaster ID. This is the ID of the scheduled room for the location -- from XXSYS_RegistryValue.
     
  10. Room Name. This is the name of the room scheduled for the event. This name is linked to the Locationmaster ID.

  11. Confirm Status ID.  This is the ID of the Confirm status for the room -- from XXSYS_RegistryValue.
     
  12. Confirm Status Text.  This is the text equivalent to the Confirm Status ID, Pending, Confirmed, Conflict.
     
  13. Confirm Person ID.  This is the ID number of the person who confirmed the event record.
     
  14. Date Confirm.  This is the date that the event status was changed to Confirmed.

 

Update

The Update link is used to make changes to an existing Event Location form.  Clicking on this link will open the Event Location form for this record.

Expire

The Expire link is used to end date the record with the current date. The record will remain in the database but will not be viewed during normal searches.

 

Purge

Clicking on the Purge link will remove the Event Location record from the database.

Attention:  This action will permanently remove the record from the database and can not be undone.

 

Event Title

Clicking on the Event Title link will sort all of the event locations in ascending alphabetical order of event title.

 

Locationmaster

Clicking on the Locationmaster link will sort all of the event locations in ascending order of the Location Master ID number.

 

Room Name

Clicking on the Room Name link will sort all of the event locations in ascending order of the Room Name.

 

Confirm Status

Clicking on the Date Confirm link will sort all of the event locations in ascending order of the Date Confirmed.
