The following contains information to help you understand tuition payment options and direct deposit options for students who work on campus. If you have additional questions about your students tuition bill, please contact the Cash Receipts office at 765.658.4015 or cashreceipts@depauw.edu.
Student payroll direct deposit
DePauw University has established a direct deposit program for student employees. To enroll the direct deposit system for payroll, each student must complete an Authorization Agreement for Automatic Deposit and return it to the Payroll Office along with the necessary documentation outlined in the agreement. Students may obtain this agreement from the Business Office, Cash Receipts or the Financial Aid Office.
In July each student receives a bill for first semester charges at DePauw. This billing will include any previous balances as of the billing date in addition to current charges for tuition, fees, room and board (if applicable). Financial aid, tuition deposits and early payments will be shown as credits on the statement. An account statement is mailed to both the home address and to the student on campus on approximately the 10th day of each month.
You have three payment options to choose from:
- Option 1: Payment in full
Payment is due by Aug. 1. You may deduct any pending loans or scholarships that will be applied to the account before submitting payment.
- Option 2: 10-Month Payment Plan
This option is offered by Tuition Management, a Key Company, at 800.343.0911. The 10-month payment schedule begins July 1 and ends April 1. Tuition Management will forward your payments to DePauw at the end of each month, provided they receive your payment by the first of the month. Future payments are shown as pending on the invoices that you receive from DePauw and are not assessed deferred payment charges. However, any unpaid balance not covered by the budgeted payments will be assessed a 1 percent deferred payment charge each month that the additional amount is not paid. Payment for amounts not contracted with Tuition Management should be forwarded directly to DePauw.
- Option 3: DePauw Deferred Payment Plan
Under this plan, you will make eight payments directly to DePauw. The payments during the fall semester are due Aug. 1, Sept. 1, Oct. 1 and Nov. 1. The payments during the spring semester are due February 1, March 1, April 1 and May 1. Your monthly payment amount will be shown as the minimum payment due on your invoice. The unpaid balance on your account will be assessed a deferred payment charge at the rate of 1 percent each month.
Questions about payment plans should be directed to the Cash Receipts Office. The office is located on the lower level of the Studebaker Administration Building and is open Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.; you may call 765.658.4015 or email cashreceipts@depauw.edu.
