New paintings by New York-based artist Yun-Fei Ji that present his view of the displaced inhabitants and environmental destruction of China's Three Gorges Dam project.
Yun-Fei Ji: The Empty City was organized by the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis and curated by Shannon Fitzgerald. Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis acknowledges the generous funding support for the exhibition and catalog awarded by the National Endowment for the Arts, the Regional Arts Commission St. Louis and the Arts & Education Council.

Visual Arts Gallery
Co-curated by Kaytie Johnson and performance artist Guillermo Gómez-Peña, this installation critically examines the techniques and narratives of display by situating objects and notions of collecting within the context of the "globalized" border.

Convergences in Contemporary CulturesSeptember 14 – December 4, 2005
University Gallery, lower level
By moving beyond the deconstruction and analysis of postmodernism, this exhibition reveals, through the work of 14 contemporary women artists, the connective tissue that links contemporary ideas.
This exhibition was co-curated by Vicky A. Clark and Sandhini Poddar, and is being toured under the auspices of Pamela Auchincloss/Arts Management, New York.
