Director of Prospect Research
Denise began her DePauw career in July of 1990 as assistant to the vice president for development. Now, she holds the position of director of prospect research, and in that role she is responsible for donor/prospect identification, prospect research/evaluation and management of development information. She also researches entities, prospects and potential prospects in published, public and University records using a number of different resource materials; analyzes and synthesizes information for the University’s fundraisers, volunteers and major University officials; participates in the development of major gifts strategies; and helps maintain the accuracy and quality of the University’s computerized records on alumni, prospects and donors.
As with all prospect development professionals, Denise is guided by a code of ethics outlined by APRA International that ensures all activities performed are legal, ethical and appropriate for their individual organizations.
