Reunion & Class Giving Officer
Rosie Blankenship came to DePauw in October 2015, bringing more than 20 years of experience in non-profit and educational advancement. She believes in mission-based fundraising that focuses on matching a donor's philanthropic vision to the organization's goals.
Rosie graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College with a bachelor of arts in communication arts and studied toward a master of arts in journalism at Ball State University. She earned her CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) credential in 2013.
Prior to working for DePauw, she was the annual giving and alumnae/i relations manager for the Sisters of Providence at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. In her 20 years with the Sisters of Providence, she worked in various roles, including as website and social media manager and as publications manager. She previously worked in publications at Butler University, as an editor at Prentice Hall Computer Publishing, and as a reporter at the Terre Haute Tribune-Star.
Rosie volunteers with a number of non-profit and service organizations, including advocacy and fundraising committees for the Avon Community School Corporation, a committee for the Association of Fundraising Professionals-Indiana, Girl Scouts, and more. She lives in Avon, Indiana, with her daughter, Colleen, and their chi-weenie rescue dog, Gracie.
