Annual Giving

Thank you for considering a gift to the DePauw Annual Fund. Your support is truly appreciated. There are three basic ways to make a gift to the Annual Fund.

DePauw University
Annual Giving Office

Donate stock shares

If you have the actual stock certificate in your possession:

Please DO NOT SIGN THE CERTIFICATE. Enclose the unsigned certificate in a separate envelope and send it by certified mail. In a separate envelope, enclose a signed stock power.

Stock Power

The stock power does not need to be sent via certified mail. Send both of these envelopes to:

Annual Giving
300 East Seminary Street
P.O. Box 37
Greencastle, IN 46135-0037

The stock will be valued with its average trading value for the day the certified envelope is postmarked. You will receive a gift acknowledgment and receipt within two weeks of the stock's sale.

If the stock you intend to gift is held in a brokerage account:

Please instruct your broker to contact:

Sue Brown
Assistant to the Vice President for Finance
765-658-4161

Sue will coordinate the stock transfer to a DePauw account with your broker on behalf of DePauw University. Likewise, if you would like DePauw to contact your broker, please let Sue know your intentions.  The stock will be valued with its average trading value the day it is received in DePauw's brokerage account.
