The Alpha Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega participates in a wide variety of philanthropies each semester. Our contributions go to the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation, which distributes funds to benefit members of our fraternity, the MacDowell Colony, Victims of Domestic Violence (our national philanthropy), and others.
Some of our events and interests:

We support the Wendy Faulkner Foundation. Wendy died in the terrorist attacks on September 11th and her foundation benefits children and families in developing countries. Her daughter is a alumnae of the Alpha Chapter. |

Alpha Chi also participates in the Putnam County Relay for Life, an annual event that raises funds to fight cancer. This year, DePauw and the Greencastle community raised over $200,000! |

One of our major philanthropy fundraising events is the annual Monon Bell Ring Sing pep rally. Alpha Chi sponsors this event to raise money to support Victims of Domestic Violence and also to provide a celebration of school spirit for the DePauw Tigers football team and the student body. Many campus organizations participate in the event. Look for information in the Fall to get involved or contact our philanthropy chair at axo@depauw.edu. |
