Approximately 25 Management Fellows participated in what has become an annual tradition: the Management Fellow Bowling Party.
Students gathered from 8:00 – 10:00 p.m. for fun, food, prizes and a study break with fellow Management Fellows at Alex Alleys.
Allan B.Hubbard, Assistant to the President for Economic Policy and Director, National Economic Council (NEC)One hundred twenty-one Management Fellows attended a dinner to hear the Robert C. McDermond Honorary Lecture and medal recipient, Al Hubbard, October 26, 2006.
The NEC was established in 1993 within the Office of Policy Development and is part of the Executive Office of the President. It was created for the purpose of advising the President on matters related to U.S. and global economic policy.
In 1969, Mr. Hubbard received his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Vanderbilt University. In 1975, Mr. Hubbard received his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, and Masters in Business Administration with Distinction from Harvard Law School and Harvard School of Business Administration.
Mr. Hubbard has owned and operated a number of businesses. In addition, he served in the Bush-Quayle Administration as Executive Director of the Council on Competiveness.

Twenty-four Management Fellows traveled to Brazil, Indiana's Forest Park for a golf outing on October 8, 2006. The golf outing was one of the events planned by the Management Fellows' Student Council.
