Creating a PDF file from a PowerPoint Presentation


To convert a Power Point presentation into a PDF file (Note: You can install PDF writing software from the Help Desk by browsing to http://www.depauw.edu/it/helpdesk/downloads (opens in new window).):

1. Open your PowerPoint presentation

2. Click File

3. Click Print

4. In the Print dialog box

a. Select PDF995 or Acrobat PDFWriter from the Name: drop down list

b. Click OK

5. In the Print to File dialog box

a. In the Save in: drop down list box, select the location to save the file

b. Enter a name in File name:

c. Click Save

6. Add the document to your Blackboard site
