Digital Drop Box

Digital Drop Box is a tool that enables an instructor and his/her students to exchange files electronically. There are two options available in the Digital Drop Box -- Add File and Send File. Add File will add a file to an individual's Blackboard account and will not send the file to the instructor. Send File will send the file to your instructor or any selected users.

To add a file to your individual Blackboard account or to send a file to your instructor:

1. Click Course Tools or Dropbox (if available)

a. If you chose Course Tools

i. Select Digital Drop Box

ii. Click Add File (Important Note: This will only add the file to the site; it will not send the file.) OR Send File (Important Note: This will send the file to a selected user(s).)

a.) Add File Option

1.) Enter Name
2.) Enter File OR click Browse to locate the file
3.) Enter Comments
4.) Click Submit

b.) Send File Option

1.) Enter Name
2.) Enter File OR click Browse to locate file
3.) Enter Comments
4.) Click Submit

b. If you chose Dropbox
