GroupWise and Tigermail

How to login to Novell and Tigermail

Novell’s GroupWise 6.5 is DePauw’s supported application for e-mail, calendaring, task management and contact management for faculty, staff and students. Email at DePauw can be accessed in two ways: using the desktop client for Windows and Macintosh (GroupWise), and via the web (TigerMail) at http://tigermail.depauw.edu.

Installing GroupWise for Windows Email Client (PCs)

Click on setupip.exe (500 KB).

(If you are installing the client from the CDROM, locate and run the GroupWise Client installation file from there.)

   Select Run in the File Download window:

Click Next to step through several setup windows and continue through installation.

To run the GroupWise Desktop Client:

Double-click on the desktop and login with your username & password:

Installing GroupWise for Windows Email Client (Macintosh)

**Does NOT work on MacBooks

Go to www.depauw.edu/it/helpdesk/downloads/

Find GroupWise Mac OS X

Click Download here and follow instructions

Checking E-Mails

GroupWise/Tigermail

Using an internet browser (explore, safari, firefox, ect.) go to the DePauw homepage (http://www.depauw.edu/)

In the Left corner click Login to Tigermail

This will bring you to the Novell GroupWise WebAccess page

Under Username type your user name (example: jsmith@depauw.edu)

Under Password type your password (usually your ID number unless changed)

Then click Login
