How to use old HP scanners using automatic feed

The ideal program to use is ScanSoft Omnipage Pro

Steps to scan:

1. On the tool bar located at the top of the screen, select how you wish to scan (black and white, color, grayscale)
1. The middle option should say “Automatic”
2. The third option should say “Save to file” if you wish to save your scan.

2. Place the pages you wish to scan in the tray on top with the image facing up.
1. Scanner feeds from top to bottom, so arrange your pages accordingly.
3. On the menu bar, select “Process” and then “Start” to begin feeding the pages.
4. To stop feeding pages, either click the “stop” icon in the tool bar or push the escape key.
5. Once the scanner has stopped, go to “File” and “Save as” to save your images.
