How to Download and Access the I and P Drives for both Windows XP and Mac OS X:

1.  In order to download the I and P drives access, go to:

          http://depauw.edu/it/helpdesk/studentinstalls/

2.  If you have a Dell computer, you want to download “Novell Client.”  Click on the folder under the Windows XP column.  If you have a Mac computer, you want to download “Network Alias Icons.”  Click on the face under the Mac OS X column.

3.  Once you have clicked on one of the icons, a link will appear giving you instructions on what the I and P drives are and how to download them.  Follow the step-by-step instructions on the link and the drives will be downloaded.

4.  To access the I and P drives, you must log-on to the server.  If you are logging onto a University computer, you can access your I and P drives simply after logging onto the computer.  If you are on your personal laptop, you must click on the drive you wish to access and log on using your username and password.
