Story Editor
Oftentimes in Adobe PageMaker, you will want to split up your text into several text boxes, or even have your text span several pages.  In this case, it may be easier to edit your text using the Story Editor.  The Story Editor opens your text in a new window that looks and acts more like a word processor.

You may open the story editor in two different ways.  One option is to click on the block of text you wish to edit and choose EditEdit Story from the menu bar.  The other option is just to triple click on the block of text.  The entire story will now appear in the Story Editor.  Once in the story editor, you may edit your story as you wish.  You may also use the Find…, Find Next…, Change…, and Spelling… options found under Utilities in the menu bar and all the options found under Story in the menu bar.  When finished editing your story, choose EditEdit Layout from the menu bar and the Story Editor will close.
