Applying filters

Fireworks filters

 

1. Click within the area you wish to apply the filter to. This may be done by clicking on the image with the Pointer tool, or selecting the layer it is in.
2. In the Properties inspector, click on the Add filter button.
3. Once you click the Add filter button, a drop down menu will appear with various options. Each option has a sub-menu of filters to choose from.

  Photoshop filters

 

1. Select the area you wish to apply the filter to. You can select the entire image by clicking on it with the pointer, choose a layer, or use the marquee or other selection tool.
2. In the Menu bar, click on the Filter tab. A drop down menu will appear. Each option has a sub-menu of specific filters to choose from.
