Rip tracks from an audio CD
Windows Media Player:
To rip tracks from an audio CD to your computer, insert your CD in the CD drive. From the menu bar choose File → CDs and Devices → Rip Audio CD and then the drive that contains your audio CD. The Rip feature is displayed and all the tracks are selected to be ripped. If there are any tracks that you do not want to be ripped, clear the check box next to them. You can select the check box at the top of the list to clear or select all tracks. Click the Rip Music button
. The selected tracks are ripped to the My Music folder by default. You may change the location of your files after you have ripped them.
RealPlayer:
To rip tracks from an audio CD and save them in you library, insert the CD into the CD drive. If you have not already ripped the tracks from this CD, RealPlayer will ask if you would like to save the tracks to your library now. Click Yes to do this. RealPlayer will begin saving your tracks. Once all the tracks have been ripped, the CD will automatically eject.
