Subject: Cyber Security Tip of the Day - Identity Theft

The CyberCats won’t always be there to save the day.  Be sure to keep your personal information secure by choosing passwords that are hard to guess.  Make sure your security questions are unique enough that only you can answer them.  Finally, the web is a wild frontier, be careful what you post.  If you post too much personal information, it could make you an easy target.  Consider Googling your name to see what identity thieves might be able to learn about you.

Stop by our tables in the Hub TODAY from 11:00am-1:30pm to register your laptop’s serial number with Information Services for a chance to win a 250 gigabyte external hard drive!

Sincerely,

The DePauw Help Desk Staff
