Creating and editing a hotspot 

After you choose areas of a source graphic that would make good navigation points, you need to create a hotspot and assign it a URL link.

 

  1. Choose the Rectangle hotspot or the Circle hotspot from the Tool bar.

  1. Drag the Hotspot tool to draw a hotspot over an area of the graphic. Hold down Alt (Windows) or Option (Macintosh) to draw from a center point.

If you wish to create an odd shaped hotspot:

  1. Chose the Polygonal hotspot from the Tool bar.
  2. Create vector points by clicking to create an outline of the shape you want. A fill will define the hotspot area as you go.
