Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition for Macintosh

Download the file at Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition (v 10.0) (26MB)

Once the image file has been mounted on your desktop double-click this icon.  
Click Continue.  
Click Continue.  
Click Continue.  
Click Agree.  
Verify that your hard drive is selected and click Continue.  
Click Install.  
Authenticate with your computer username and password and click the OK button.  
Click Continue Installation.  
To complete the installation, click Logout.  
Click the Symantec logo in the menu bar.    

PLEASE NOTE: If you have a MacBook, you will see an error message "AntiVirus Auto-Protect could not continue".

Click OK to dismiss this message, and then run LiveUpdate. Restart your computer, and proceed with the instructions.

Scroll over LiveUpdate.

  
Click on Open Symantec Scheduler.  
Click New.  

Click Product Update.

  

Click the box next to Do not show progress.

 

In the Set a Frequency drop-down menu, select Daily.

 

 

Near the bottom of the window where is says, Set the time, pick a time you know your computer will be on and connected to the internet.

 

Click Save. 		 
Click the “X” to exit the Symantec Scheduler window.  Installation and configuration of Symantec is now complete.
