Instructional & Learning Services
Instructional and Learning Services (I.L.S.) collaborates with students, faculty & staff members to explore & support ways that instructional & information technology can support a learner-centered environment.
Programs include:
We offer:
- Workshops for faculty members, students & staff
- Instructional technology seminars
- Team-based support for faculty projects involving instructional technologies
- One-on-one consulting for faculty members
- Technical training and production support for projects
- Specific course-related technology training for students
- Specialized labs with
- Digital imaging workstations and slide & flatbed scanners to digitize images & text for the Web, archiving or any other digital presentation format
- Digital audio software & hardware
- Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software (incl. ArcGIS), flatbed scanners and wide-format plotter
- Digital video workstations for capturing and compiling video clips & short segments for DVD or the Web
