| Job Advertisement: |
Instructional & Learning Services (I.L.S.) is seeking six highly motivated associates to assist full time staff members in the coordination and development of student staff programs. Each student director will gain valuable experience and expertise in administration and management, identifying and coordinating team needs, developing a professional development curriculum and other relevant responsibilities. Students in these positions will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects with students from other I.L.S. specialty teams.
Activities and Responsibilities
• Upper-level decision making and direction of teams
• Organize and mentor student staff members
• Model and promote professional behaviors in the work environment
• Develop, coordinate and implement core skill training with other Student Directors
• Develop, coordinate and implement professional development activities
General Qualifications
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Ability to interact in a professional manner equally with students, faculty members and staff members
• Management and organizational skills
• Previous leadership experience
• Previous work experience in I.L.S. is helpful
