Project-Related Information:
Project Title: Recording Arts Workshop
Student's Position Title: Recordist Intern
Job Advertisement: 1. SPACE IS INTRINSIC TO MUSIC!

1a. Music emerges as an interaction between instruments/voices and performance space.

2. Recording classical music consists of recording a performance space's response to that music. We, as recordists, sculpt a balance between musicians and performance space.

2a. The recording outlives the performance; thus, the recordist serves as interpreter and arbiter for all subsequent listening. Ah.

Grapple with these issues as a student recordist!
