The student will work in conjunction with the DePauw Student Government (DSG) Executive Board and DSG advisor to redevelop and maintain the DSG website. In doing so, the intern will assess the information needs of student congress representatives, students at large, and the greater DePauw community and will develop a website that will meet those needs. Critical components of the new website will include ways to access documents, such as the constitution and weekly minutes, ways to contact the DSG executive board, cabinet members and graduate trustees, updates on issues, both election and organization recognition applications. Eventually, we would also like to look into the possibility of publishing a podcast of the weekly student congress meetings. This project would greatly improve the way that DSG is able to communicate with the DePauw community and would help the student body at large. |
