Position 1: Technician
Within the CTEP program a technician must have working knowledge of computer repair, and be able to recognize basic hardware and software issues. A technician’s duties would include, but are not limited to:
• Hard Drive Imaging
• Software Installation
• Troubleshooting and Diagnostics
• Maintaining Computer Labs
• Assist in the Preparation and Presentation of Workshop Materials & Curriculum
• A CTEP technician must also have the ability to work well in group settings and a desire to work within the community.

| Intern Qualifications Needed: |
The CTEP technician's duties primarily involve hardware and software troubleshooting. The typical workday for a Technician will involve replacing computer components, installing Windows, locating and downloading drivers, and installing the CTEP application suite.
At the time of hire, a CTEP Technician should have a working knowledge of computer software and hardware. Specific troubleshooting skills and software proficiencies can be learned on the job.
