Student's Position Title: Technical Coordinator
Job Advertisement: Position 2: Technical Coordinator Within the CTEP program a technical coordinator must have working knowledge of computer repair and a sense of basic administrative and managerial duties. A technical coordinator’s duties would include, but are not limited to: • Hard Drive Imaging • Software Installation • Troubleshooting • Overseeing High School Interns • Assist in the Preparation and Presentation of Workshop Materials & Curriculum • Processing Applications for Computer Donations • Maintaining MS Access Databases • A CTEP technical coordinator must also have the ability to effectively oversee other employees and be very efficient in time management.

Project Duration: Full-Year (Fall-Spring)
Intern Qualifications Needed: The CTEP Technical Coordinator's duties involve both hardware and software troubleshooting, and oversight of the other CTEP Technicians. The typical workday for a Technical Coordinator will involve supervising CTEP Technicians and high school interns, processing incoming applications for computer donations, maintaining the CTEP database, and returning phone calls from potential clients in the Putnam County area. Technical Coordinators are also expected to be proficient with the Technician's duties, including replacing computer components, installing Windows, locating and downloading drivers, and installing the CTEP application suite.

At the time of hire, a CTEP Technician should have a working knowledge of computer software and hardware. Specific troubleshooting skills and software proficiencies can be learned on the job.
